The Journey Continues

March 7, 2026 By David C

The last few weeks have moved quickly—faster than I expected, and in many ways faster than I thought I was ready for. But momentum has a way of revealing what’s possible, and this season has been full of possibility.

I recently completed an Audition Course at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts under the direction of Sylvia Gregory, and it was exactly the reset I needed. The work was rigorous, clarifying, and deeply energizing. For the first time in a long while, I feel prepared, grounded, and genuinely excited to step back into the audition room. I’ve already signed up for several auditions, and I’m walking into each one with more confidence than I’ve had in years.

At the same time, my fitness and teaching life has expanded in new directions. I’ve begun personal training and teaching Bootcamp and HIIT classes at Absolute Personal Fitness—work that challenges me, sharpens me, and keeps me connected to the kind of embodied presence I’ve always believed in.

Men’s Natural Yoga is also on the move—literally. We’re transitioning from our longtime home in Falcon into a brand‑new facility in Colorado Springs. It’s a big shift, but it feels right. Growth often asks us to relocate, reorganize, and re‑imagine, and this move is opening doors for the community in ways that feel exciting and overdue.

And while all of that is unfolding, I’m still exploring yoga teaching opportunities in Denver. The right space hasn’t shown up yet, but I’m trusting the timing. Every part of this transition has reminded me that the path reveals itself step by step, not all at once.

The move to Denver has been fast, yes—but it has also been motivating. It’s pushed me to stretch, to recommit, and to rediscover parts of myself I thought were in the past. Acting, training, teaching, music, yoga… all of it is finding its place again.

The journey continues, and I’m grateful to be exactly where I am.

Oh, not as a postscript, but an important addition: Kevin is flourishing at his new position as Head Pastry Chef and Kitchen Manager for Gingerly Baked. So proud of him.
